Stephen Hamlet, MBA, SPHR
Stephen Hamlet is a passionate and innovative business partner that just happens to be very talented in HR. With more than 20 years of experience leading transformative HR initiatives that unlock enterprise value, accelerate growth, and strengthen organizational resilience, Stephen has experience working with executive teams across many industries such as healthcare, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and high-growth technology sectors to align people strategies with business imperatives.
As the Human Resources Leader for OVIK Health, the medical division of Milliken, Stephen drove HR transformation to support both sales and operational growth, organizational scalability, and cultural alignment. Previously, as Vice President of Human Resources at Agilyx & Cyclyx International, he architected an HR infrastructure for a complex, technical organization, reducing turnover by 30% and aligning executive compensation with shareholder value through direct collaboration with the Board.
Earlier in his career, Stephen held leadership roles with Samsung Medical (NeuroLogica/Boston Imaging), Crane Currency, B/E Aerospace, and Waste Management, where he consistently delivered measurable impact—cutting attrition by up to 50%, leading HR integration for billion-dollar acquisitions, scaling workforces during rapid revenue growth, and ensuring organizational continuity during major operational disruptions, including the COVID-19 pandemic and disaster recovery efforts.
Prior to the above experience, Stephen led a start-up business, CitrusForce, in Florida supporting many citrus processing facilities such as Florida’s Natural Growers, Cargill and Silver Springs. His straight-forward, yet innovative approach to supporting both small to large operations helped them to grow and be significantly more successful.
Stephen recently completed his MBA in Strategic Human Resources from Louisiana State University–Shreveport and holds a BA in Communication from North Carolina State University. Stephen has earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and completed the executive leadership development education at the Center for Creative Leadership. Currently, Stephen is enrolled in AIHR (Academy to Innovate Human Resources) and is continuing to build his hands-on knowledge in effectively implementing AI in the workplace.
