Erica Ellison
Erica Ellison, J.D., MBA, is a seasoned HR and business leader with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations simplify operations and strengthen their people foundations. She partners with small and midsize businesses to make HR easy where it can be—and focused where it matters most—so leaders can redirect time and resources back to growing their business and fulfilling their mission.
Known for her frank, down-to-earth approach and practical problem-solving, Erica blends strategic insight with hands-on support. She helps clients streamline systems, improve compliance, and align workforce plans with business goals. Her background includes organizational design, talent development, and managing people operations across U.S. and global markets. She has also guided organizations through acquisitions, integrations, and transitions in their operating footprint.
Erica previously served as Senior Vice President of Global People and Culture for a nonprofit operating in 33 countries, where she led large-scale system upgrades and reduced audit risks to zero.
Erica holds a Juris Doctor and MBA, is admitted to the Maryland Bar (inactive status), and is certified in Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) and Leadership Excellence training from the Disney Institute. Her legal and business background helps clients navigate compliance, risk, and organizational change with clarity and confidence.
Erica lives in Virginia and enjoys gardening, travel, and time with her two children and fiancé.
